Brisbane has many nicknames, from the River City and New World City, to the Sunshine State capital and the home of the Queenslander house. But what makes Brisbane special as a city? And what do locals really think?

Join people+artist+place Co-Directors Jenna Green and Marisa Georgiou, along with their creative collaborators, as they unravel ‘The Brisbane Aesthetic’ from the various perspectives of locals and visitors. Engage in discussions and hear conversations collected from the community as part of Jenna and Marisa’s month-long Museum residency during BRISBANE ART DESIGN (BAD).

Join Marisa, Jenna and their collaborators post-residency as they reflect on their time at Museum of Brisbane and share their findings.

Come to the museum on Friday 21st June from 5:30pm to hear Marisa, Jenna and creative facilitators reflect on the residency and present our findings.
